CloseJoin Chef Tyler Duft for a hands-on evening dedicated to building confidence with one of the most important tools in the kitchen.
Learn the fundamentals of safe knife handling, sharpening, and honing to keep your knives performing at their best. Chef Tyler will also guide you through traditional French culinary knife techniques, including julienne, chiffonade, brunoise, émincé, and baton, helping you prepare vegetables and herbs with confidence and precision.
Guests are encouraged to bring their favourite chef's knife from home or take advantage of $75 off any Wüsthof knife priced at $145 or more before class begins.
The vegetables and herbs prepared during class will be transformed into the evening's tasting menu:
Caviar, Sour Cream & Crackers (Chives)
French Fries with Fresh Garlic Mayonnaise & Flat Leaf Parsley (Baton, Chiffonade)
Tortilla Soup with Fresh Fried Corn Masa Crisps, Cabbage, Carrots, Beans & Onions in a Rich Tomato Pork Broth (Julienne, Brunoise)
Please arrive 30 minutes early to browse Kitchen Therapy's knife selection. Chef Tyler will be available to answer questions, demonstrate our knife collection, and help you find the right knife for your kitchen.
