CloseMade from non-deformable carbon steel, this MINERAL B pan is covered with a thin layer of beeswax which protects it from oxidation. This wax must be removed with very hot water before seasoning. This natural process prevents the crêpes from sticking and promotes even caramelization of the batter. With each use, the pan improves and gains in performance.
This improvement goes hand in hand with a change in the appearance of your carbon steel pan, which will first turn brown, then black. This color is the sign of a well-seasoned pan.
Equipped with a riveted French-style curved handle, this MINERAL B crêpe pan offers an ergonomic grip, responding to the professional's gesture. Compatible with all heat sources, including induction, it finds its place in every kitchen for Candlemas (and all the rest of the year).
Easy to maintain, simply deglaze the steel pan after use, then rinse it with hot water. The crêpe pan must be dried immediately after cleaning. It is possible to protect it until its next use by applying a thin layer of maintenance wax.
