Instructor Bio:

Eddy was born in Macau, China, grew up in Hong Kong, and moved to Vancouver, BC in 1969.  From a young age, he showed a deep interest in cooking, starting at the age of 16 and he began taking cooking classes at the Mobil Cooking School in Hong Kong, which taught a repertoire of classic Chinese dishes.  The youngest of four, he also played home cook for many years for his family in Hong Kong.  

Upon immigrating to Canada, and in more recent years, he has always been a passionate home cook for his family & friends while working in a career in pharmaceutical sales.  During this time, Eddy had to opportunity to attend Dubrulle (The Art Institute) learning Western cooking techniques from many notable chefs. Eddy's passion for cooking is only paralleled by his love of salesmanship and public speaking, a perfect combination for teaching!  You'll soon recognize Eddy by his signature white head of hair, as he's the self-proclaimed "silver fox".

After retiring from pharmaceutical sales in 2014, Eddy wanted to expand on this passion for cooking with the desire to share authentic Chinese cooking with a new audience.  There's more to Chinese than sweet and sour and chop suey!  Let's eat!

Class Cancellation Policy

Cooking class registration is accepted in person or on line at www.kitchentherapy.ca.
Full payment is required at time of registration and can be made using visa, mastercard, debit card (in person only), a valid gift card or by cash. If you are unable to attend a class that you registered for, we require 48 hours notice; with 48 hours notice we can move you to another class (provided space is available), or offer you a store credit for in-store purchases.
We do not offer refunds
If less than 48 hours notice is given, we are unable to offer a credit, however, we do encourage you to send a family member or friend in your place. If, for any reason, we cancel a class, we will gladly offer a refund or a store credit. Gift certificates can be used for any of our cooking classes; please bring in your gift card (the one you used for on-line registration/purchase) at time of the class you will be attending.
Our classes generally sell out, so on-line purchasing for attendance is strongly recommended.
