Karen Barnaby is the award winning executive chef of the Fish House in Stanley Park, cookbook author, and Vancouver Sun food columnist.
With her no-nonsense and approachable style, Karen has been a well-respected and sought after cooking teacher for 20 years.
Karen also manages to squeeze in some volunteer time to worthwhile causes such as the Helping Hands Cookbook, written to support Vancouver's Community Kitchens, sits on the board of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, and is a member and past president of Les Dames d’Escoffier Vancouver Chapter.

California wine comes in hundreds of different varietals and styles. Wine regions range from the cool pacific coastal to the hot desert interior with a variety of different climates and soils that impact the final wine.
During this workshop you will sample four wines from the different areas of California and learn which grapes are grown where and why. All wines will be paired with small bites of food that reflect the unique flavours in the wine. |
